B. Rose Huber is a fiction writer and bookmaker living in Washington, D.C. She likes to think about her work in playful ways and works toward expressing this through bookmaking and other design.

She's interested in the beauty of food and likes to write about what she eats on her food blog.

Some say she's crafty, and so she shares the books and art projects she's made on that same blog. She hopes that they help others get more creative, even if just a little bit.

By day, she is assistant director of public relations at UMBC. She happily gets to write stories, shoot video and connect with students.

She received an M.F.A. in Creative Writing & Publishing Arts from the University of Baltimore and a B.A. in Journalism and English from the Robert E. Cook Honors College at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
